Our March for Babies celebration is still on, but it looks a little different! We are rapidly preparing for a new, virtualized event that will be fun and engaging for everyone. This change in format aligns with the newly released CDC guidance for large events, to help ensure the safety and health of our participants. More details on our new format to come soon!

We're getting ready to walk in March for Babies! It promises to be a fun day out with people who share our passion for improving the health of babies. Join family teams, company teams and people walking with friends for a great cause: making a difference for real families right here in our community. Sign up and raise money to help more moms have full-term pregnancies and healthy babies.

Meet Avery

Born early at 23 weeks in 2012, weighing only 1 pound, 1 ounce and measuring 11 inches long, Avery Campbell spent nearly 20 weeks in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU)at Mission Children's Hospital in Asheville, North Carolina. He has pulled through numerous complications he suffered from extreme prematurity. Today, Avery is an energetic 2 year old who is always wearing a smile! North Carolina Chapter of March of Dimes is proud to have Avery serving as our 2015 Asheville Area March for Babies Ambassador with his parents, Nikki and Scott Campbell.
