As a local National Service Partner, the Tau Delta Zeta Chapter remains committed to ensuring all mothers and babies experience safe and healthy pregnancies.
In Prince George's County, preterm birth occurs in 1 out of 9 live births, accounting for over 1,100 babies in 2023. Our goal is to help more of our babies reach full term, and partnerships like the March of Dimes Mama and Baby Mobile Health Unit at University of Maryland Capital Region, March for Babies walks, and our national Storks Nest program work to do just that.
Join and/ or donate today to help do your part in helping every mother and baby.
With preterm birth rates continuing to rise, the U.S. remains among the most dangerous developed nations for childbirth, especially for women and babies of color.
At March for Babies™ you're lifting up communities, creating connections and taking action to make America a more equitable place and ensure that every mom and baby is healthy.
Together, we’re marching to raise funds and awareness to transform the health of all families!
THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
