We march for Greta Forte Gintoft, our daughter, granddaughter, niece, sister, cousin, and friend. Greta was born prematurely on September 22, 2017. She fought for 17 days in the NICU before dying from an infection. We don't know the cause of the premature labor. We march to improve our understanding of premature birth to one day, know how to prevent it. We march to support research to improve outcomes for moms and babies. We march to give all babies a healthy start. We know future babies and families will benefit from the important work March of Dimes is leading. We miss you baby Greta. <3
With preterm birth rates continuing to rise, the U.S. remains among the most dangerous developed nations for childbirth, especially for women and babies of color.
At March for Babies: A Mother of a Movement™ you're lifting up communities, creating connections and taking action to make America a more equitable place and ensure that every mom and baby is healthy.
Together, we’re marching to raise funds and awareness to transform the health of all families!
THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
