Our March for Babies celebration is still on, but it looks a little different! We are rapidly preparing for a new, virtualized event that will be fun and engaging for everyone. This change in format aligns with the newly released CDC guidance for large events, to help ensure the safety and health of our participants. More details on our new format to come soon!
It's still on, we look forward to seeing you today! With the weather in the area, we will delay the start of the walk to 9:30AM. Registration is still opening on time.

Our country is facing an urgent maternal and infant health crisis. The U.S. remains among the most dangerous developed nations for childbirth, especially for women and babies of color. For more than 20 years, Houston has hosted the #1 March for Babies in the nation. Join us in-person on May 5, 2024 for the Houston March for Babies at University of Houston. Event registration opens at 8:00 am and walk starts at 9:00 am in the parking lot off of Cullen & Holman near the Football Stadium. Enjoy the easy 3 mile walk in and around the beautiful campus of University of Houston, then engage in a meaningful way with your family in the March for Babies experiences with face painting, giant Jenga, remembrance wall, music, food trucks and much more. Together, let's be apart of something big. Parking is available at TDECU Stadium and surrounding lots on Elgin St. Discounted paid parking is available for $8. Click link to reserve your spot.
