Our March for Babies celebration is still on, but it looks a little different! We are rapidly preparing for a new, virtualized event that will be fun and engaging for everyone. This change in format aligns with the newly released CDC guidance for large events, to help ensure the safety and health of our participants. More details on our new format to come soon!

About March for Babies

March for Babies will be held on Sunday, May 4th at Hunt Valley Towne Centre. 

Parking is free around the Towne Centre. There is no event parking in the Wegman's parking lot.

Registration starts at 8:00 AM and the walk begins at 9:00 AM. The opening ceremony will take place at 8:45 AM featuring our Show Of Hands Ceremony that you don’t want to miss! 

Dress is casual and the walk is rain or shine!

Day of festivities include: Rock painting, stroller decorating, music and fun for the whole family! Visit our four neighborhoods: CARE, CONNECT, UNITE and HONOR! Make sure to pick up your affinity bracelet in one of those areas to share why you are walking with us. The route is a leisure 1.5 mile walk around the Towne Centre.

"Never in our wildest dreams, would we have ever imagined we’d become parents to a NICU preemie baby. But we did, and so have many others before us, as will many others after us. We welcomed our son, Lucas, at 32 weeks after a quick onset diagnosis of severe superimposed preeclampsia, coupled with the discovery of a severe blood flow restriction from the placenta. While our medical team was originally attempting to closely monitor the preeclampsia to get us to at least 34 weeks, the discovery of the blood flow restriction was the true cause of the early delivery, as waiting likely would have resulted in tragedy. Lucas is now a year old and thriving!”
