Our March for Babies celebration is still on, but it looks a little different! We are rapidly preparing for a new, virtualized event that will be fun and engaging for everyone. This change in format aligns with the newly released CDC guidance for large events, to help ensure the safety and health of our participants. More details on our new format to come soon!

About March for Babies

Asheville Area March for Babies is going virtual this year. We are excited to launch a new format so everyone can participate on their own, in a easy to use virtual way. We will still Hope, Remember and Celebrate the lives of moms, babies and families!
Do you know someone who had trouble conceiving, suffered a miscarriage, had a premature baby, a baby born with a birth defect, or you would like to celebrate a healthy baby in your life? Show your support by joining us virtually on May 15, 2020 for our NEW VIRTUAL March for Babies! Because we are all March of Dimes babies!

Shannon and Kennedy

With Kennedy and Shannon being born early, they had many struggles to face. Kennedy was born at 3lbs 9 oz, and Shannon was born at 4lbs 7oz. The Dendy Family suffered so much fear in the NICU. It is with great honor that they share their story. Kennedy and Shannon are with us today as a perfect example of March of Dimes' urgent mission.
