Nearly 4 million babies are born in the U.S. every year, and each one needs us. The money you raise will be a lifeline for moms and babies near you and across the country. Join more than 6,000 people at the Greater Columbus walk in support of moms at every stage from preconception to post-delivery with research, programs, and education—and it all comes together with a celebration at March for Babies on April 29, 2018. At 25 weeks and 5 days, Grayson and Scarlett decided they could no longer wait to come into our world. They cried on their own, little cries which suited their 1 pound, 15 ounces, and 2 pound bodies. They were wheeled from the OR to the NICU and into the plastic boxes that I later came to both appreciate and despise.
During the 4.5 months they spent in the NICU, I couldn't’t do anything but pray, cry, and learn about prematurity. I realized that many of the treatments we received were direct results of research funded by the March of Dimes.
Today, we have two thriving three-year-olds! I am certain we are so fortunate because of the March of Dimes. Your support helps fund research and programs so that one day, all babies will be born healthy at term!
