Our twins were born 16 weeks prematurely just over 13 years ago. Our daughter, Jaina, died after 2 days. Our son, Cade, is an honor roll student in 7th grade, but will forever have to deal with aftereffects of his early medical struggles. He was saved by March of Dimes-funded research, which has helped countless humans (not just babies!). We pay it forward as much as we can every year, raising money for more science and more aid so that other families can be spared the death of a child.
