I joined the movement to create positive change for moms and babies everywhere, especially those most at risk. With preterm birth and maternal death rates continuing to rise, I’m committed to raising funds so that every family gets the best possible start. Money donated to The March of Dimes helps support research, education, and advocacy to help end preventable preterm birth and maternal death.
As many of you know, I delivered Cameron three and a half months early. He weighed just 1 pound, 11 ounces and required intensive care for four months. Every day was a battle. Cam required breathing tubes, feeding tubes, an arterial line, PICCs, IVs, blood transfusions, three rounds of medication therapy for a PDA, multiple infections requiring antibiotics, steroids, ultrasounds to monitor for brain bleeding, more chest x-rays than you can count, eye exams, a swallow study, PT, OT...
Cameron is growing stronger every day, and we have worked so hard to get him to where he is. He still requires extra appointments with his pediatrician, multiple specialists, and outpatient occupational and feeding therapy.
Please visit my fundraising page to make a donation. Together we’ll be part of a movement to make America a more equitable place and ensure that every mom and baby is healthy.
With preterm birth rates continuing to rise, the U.S. remains among the most dangerous developed nations for childbirth, especially for women and babies of color.
At March for Babies: A Mother of a Movement™ you're lifting up communities, creating connections and taking action to make America a more equitable place and ensure that every mom and baby is healthy.
Together, we’re marching to raise funds and awareness to transform the health of all families!
THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
