This month marks a double milestone for me. I am celebrating 5 years as the Virtual NICU Family Support Program Manager at March of Dimes—and this year, we are also celebrating the 25th Anniversary of the NICU Family Support program itself! 🎉

For over 25 years as a Certified Child Life Specialist and a decade as an Infant Massage Educator, my mission has remained the same: advocating for the patients and the families who love them. In my current role, I get to pour that lifetime of experience into enhancing the NICU experience, ensuring that "fragile" doesn't mean "disconnected."

I’ve witnessed the full spectrum of the NICU journey—the immense fears, the profound tragedies, and the triumphs that take your breath away. My faith has always guided me to turn that empathy into action.

This year is extra special because it’s the 25th Anniversary of the NICU Family Support program. It’s a legacy I am so proud to be a part of. I’ve seen firsthand how the right support can change the long-term health outcomes for a NICU graduate and their family.
