Hi friends and family,
I'm thrilled (and a little terrified!) to announce I'll be running the 2025 NYC Marathon as part of the Run for Babies team, supporting the incredible March of Dimes. This cause is deeply personal to me. In May of 2022, my pregnancy was complicated by early onset preeclampsia with severe features and HELLP syndrome. As a result, my daughter was born prematurely (9 weeks and 1 day earlier than expected!), launching us into a terrifying and uncertain path. She spent precious time in the NICU, where every day was a mix of anxiety and hope. (She is now a happy and healthy three year old).
Through that experience, I saw firsthand the incredible difference March of Dimes makes in giving every baby a fighting chance. That's why I'm running – to support families who have walked a similar path and to be part of the movement creating positive change for all moms and babies, especially those most vulnerable.
With preterm birth and maternal death rates continuing to rise, I’m committed to raising funds so that every family gets the best possible start. But I can't do it alone. I need your help.
Together, with your support, we’ll be part of a movement to make America a more equitable place and help ensure that every mom and baby is healthy.
