We were blessed with 2 beautiful daughters. Both were born prematurely at 30 weeks. Penelope was born in 2013 due to severe preeclampsia and HELLP. She was in the NICU for a total of 58 days. Allison was born in 2018 due to placental abruption. She spent a total of 44 days in the NICU. We are very blessed that they had minimal issues and reached most of their milestones very quickly. We met so many great people along this journey and couldn't have made it through without them. Penelope is such a lovable and happy 12 yr old who currently loves being in the air, whether that is on a silk, trapeze, sling or lyra hoop. She also loves stilt walking. Allison is 7 years old and loves to play pretend with her Barbies. We couldn't have made it through the NICU without all the wonderful nurses and doctors at the York Hospital NICU, they are truly amazing! Every day, thousands of babies are born too soon, too small and often very sick. I'm walking in March for Babies because I want to do something about this. And I need your help. Please support my walk. Making a secure donation is easy: just click the 'donate now' button on this page. Thank you for helping me give all babies a healthy start!
March of Dimes is dedicated to bringing people together to tackle America's maternal and infant health crisis—one person, one community, and one step at a time. More than a series of walks, March for Babies is an annual tradition that supports moms and babies every day, every step of the way.
March for Babies connects friends, families, and coworkers to improve the health of families nationwide. Together with March of Dimes, each step forward brings us closer to a healthy future for all.
Thank you for your support!
