Each year 1 in 10 babies is born prematurely in the U.S. Premature babies face serious lifelong medical and developmental issues.
Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. is proud to be a national partner with the March of Dimes. Every year Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. and its affiliates (Philos and Rhoers) participate in the March for Babies to raise funds that are used to sponsor research, provide education on prematurity to the communities that we serve, as well as medical services and support to families with premature babies. Which is now more important than ever.
This year the March for Babies will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2025. I am making it a personal goal to finish the March within one hour.
