I’m fundraising with the Lambda Gamma Sigma Pomona Alumnae Chapter  of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc.for March for Babies, and I’d love your support.

The walk is May 3rd, but the impact starts now.

This isn’t just about one event — it’s about creating a future where every mom and baby has a fighting chance, especially in communities where that chance is often stolen too soon. Black women in America are still nearly three times more likely to die from pregnancy-related causes than white women — and that number can be much higher depending on where you live.

April is National Minority Health Month and includes Black Maternal Health Week (April 11–17) — a critical time to take action, raise awareness, and donate toward solutions that save lives.

Your donation supports programs that:

• Reduce preterm births
• Improve health outcomes for babies
• Provide care, support, and advocacy for moms — especially moms of color
