Support Moms & Babies: A Call to Action
I joined the movement to create positive change for moms and babies everywhere, especially those most at risk. Across the United States, maternal health outcomes reveal alarming disparities: Black women are nearly three times more likely to die from pregnancy-related complications than white women, and Indigenous women face similarly devastating inequities. The U.S. also has one of the highest maternal mortality rates among developed nations, with more than 80% of pregnancy-related deaths deemed preventable.
With preterm birth rates and maternal deaths continuing to rise, the need for action has never been more urgent. Budget cuts to the NIH and other federal programs threaten critical research and community-driven solutions, making it increasingly important to support organizations that leverage private dollars to develop evidence-based practices to improve health outcomes.
That’s why I’m committed to raising funds to ensure every mom and baby gets the best possible start. But I can’t do this alone—I need your help.
Please visit my fundraising page to make a donation. Your contribution directly supports life-saving initiatives that increase access to prenatal care, expand health education, and advocate for equitable maternal health policies.
Together, we can build a future where every mom and baby, regardless of race or income, has an equal chance at a healthy life. Thank you for being part of the movement!
March of Dimes is dedicated to bringing people together to tackle America's maternal and infant health crisis—one person, one community, and one step at a time. More than a series of walks, March for Babies is an annual tradition that supports moms and babies every day, every step of the way.
March for Babies connects friends, families, and coworkers to improve the health of families nationwide. Together with March of Dimes, each step forward brings us closer to a healthy future for all.
