Taking care of babies has been and will always be my passion. I’m lucky enough to have a job I’m so passionate about that it doesn’t feel like work. If you have the means to donate, this is an amazing cause!! 💜
This walk represents my job and passion--helping sick and premature babies! Our son, Cole, was born prematurely on December 12, 2009, and spent 4 1/2 weeks in the NICU. I definitely have a different perspective of the NICU, and hope that the experience not only makes me a better NICU nurse, but also helps me while supporting the families of those precious babies. Cole is a happy and healthy 15 year old, and we are so thankful! Every year, half a million babies in the U.S. are born prematurely. Premature birth is the leading cause of newborn death and many life long disabilities. The funds we raise in March for Babies support research that saves babies' lives.
With preterm birth rates continuing to rise, the U.S. remains among the most dangerous developed nations for childbirth, especially for women and babies of color.
At March for Babies™ you're lifting up communities, creating connections and taking action to make America a more equitable place and ensure that every mom and baby is healthy.
Together, we’re marching to raise funds and awareness to transform the health of all families!
THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
