Out of the three of us, my father was born premature. He was nearly two months early and weighed less than 5 pounds. His father says that he was able to fit his small baby in the palm of his hand Now many, many years later he is a healthy and thriving. Our family is participating so that other children can grow into adulthood and have the chance to give back. I participate to help all moms and families experience the joy of a healthy baby. With nearly 4 million babies born each year, we have a lot of work to do to help them all. The funds I raise enable March of Dimes to support research, lead programs and provide education and advocacy that truly makes a difference to families in our community and across the country.
