We were blessed with 2 beautiful daughters. Both were born prematurely at 30 weeks. Penelope was born in 2013 due to severe preeclampsia and HELLP. She was in the NICU for a total of 58 days. Allison was born in 2018 due to placental abruption. She spent a total of 44 days in the NICU. We are very blessed that they had minimal issues and reached most of their milestones very quickly. We met so many great people along this journey and couldn't have made it through without them. Penelope is such a lovable and happy 11 yr old who currently loves being in the air, whether that is on a silk, trapeze, sling or lyra hoop. Allison is 6 years old and loves to play pretend with her Barbies. We couldn't have made it through the NICU without all the wonderful nurses and doctors at the York Hospital NICU, they are truly amazing! Every day, thousands of babies are born too soon, too small and often very sick. I'm walking in March for Babies because I want to do something about this. And I need your help. Please support my walk. Making a secure donation is easy: just click the 'donate now' button on this page. Thank you for helping me give all babies a healthy start!
With preterm birth rates continuing to rise, the U.S. remains among the most dangerous developed nations for childbirth, especially for women and babies of color.
At March for Babies™ you're lifting up communities, creating connections and taking action to make America a more equitable place and ensure that every mom and baby is healthy.
Together, we’re marching to raise funds and awareness to transform the health of all families!
THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
