I joined the movement to create positive change for moms and babies everywhere, especially those most at risk. With preterm birth and maternal death rates continuing to rise, I’m committed to raising funds so that every family gets the best possible start. But I need your help.
Everyday I have the honor of working with program coordinators across the country that bring support and education to NICU families and staff. Our NICU programs have a tremendous impact on improving what is most often the worst day of a family's life.
I am proud to be involved in the work we are doing to reach NICU families with mental health screening and support. The earlier we can reach parents with this type of support the better. By doing so, we are strengthening their bond with their baby and improving overall outcomes for the family.
I have personally experienced both prematurity and mental health challenges as a Mom who spent the majority of her pregnancy on bedrest; 5 weeks in the hospital followed by a 5 week NICU stay. This was an incredibly difficult time in my life mixed with joy, excitement, worry and fear. Having walked in these steps, I am committed to improving the experience for others one family at a time.
Please consider making a donation to my page, no amount is too little. Thank you.
With preterm birth rates continuing to rise, the U.S. remains among the most dangerous developed nations for childbirth, especially for women and babies of color.
At March for Babies™ you're lifting up communities, creating connections and taking action to make America a more equitable place and ensure that every mom and baby is healthy.
Together, we’re marching to raise funds and awareness to transform the health of all families!
THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
