Greetings and Blessings,
Year after year, I have reached out, and you have graciously responded. For over three decades, I have proudly led a team for The March of Dimes March for Babies.
I recount my story annually to underscore its significance to me. My wife, Denise, and I have been advocates for the March of Dimes for over 34 years. In 1983, while on duty at the Marine Corps Drill Field, we endured the loss of our daughter, Tinesha Bagwell. She rests at the National Cemetery in Beaufort, SC. As a military couple away from home, we longed for the comprehensive education and support that the March of Dimes now offers families.
Our aspiration is that through the March of Dimes' advocacy, education, and research, the anguish we faced will be spared by many parents. This conviction led us to support the MARCH OF DIMES in their quest to eradicate infant mortality and address the challenges of premature birth. The organization also serves as a tribute to our daughter, aiding expectant mothers and their infants towards healthier lives.

The March of Dimes is a nonprofit entity, tax-exempt under IRC section 501(c)(3), with the tax ID number 131846366.
With preterm birth rates continuing to rise, the U.S. remains among the most dangerous developed nations for childbirth, especially for women and babies of color.
At March for Babies™ you're lifting up communities, creating connections and taking action to make America a more equitable place and ensure that every mom and baby is healthy.
Together, we’re marching to raise funds and awareness to transform the health of all families!
THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
