I’m excited to run the 2025 Boston Marathon on behalf of March of Dimes March for Babies Massachusetts! As a board certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist with Mass General Brigham I see the impact on families when babies are born too soon, too small and often very sick. Every birthing person deserves the opportunity to be healthy as possible regardless of income, education, or racial and ethnic background. Chronic inequities and unequal access to quality care in Boston, across the state, and nationally have a negative impact on preterm birth rates. People of color have an up to 50 percent higher rate of preterm birth than their white counterparts. I’m running for March for Babies because I want to do something about this. And I need your help.
