MeMaw was there when Darin was born and when he passed. She loved him just as she did all her grandchildren. Every year when it came time to plan for March for Babies, she always wanted to help in any way she could. When she was still able, she walked and raised money. When she could no longer walk the 5 miles, she volunteered at the event and would work the Family Teams tent. Year after year without fail she found a way to help and be a part of remembering Darin. Hug Darin tight for us MeMaw...until we meet again.
IN APRIL OF 2002 FRANKIE AND VALARIE LOST MY GRANDSON DARIN PATRICK DELGADO DUE TO A BIRTH DEFECT. HE WOULD BE 22 YEARS OLD THIS YEAR. WE RAISE MONEY AND WALK IN HIS HONOR....TO KEEP HIS MEMORY ALIVE. IF JUST ONE BABY OR ONE FAMILY CAN BE HELPED THROUGH OUR EFFORTS, WE KNOW WE'VE MADE DARIN PROUD. THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
With preterm birth rates continuing to rise, the U.S. remains among the most dangerous developed nations for childbirth, especially for women and babies of color.
At March for Babies: A Mother of a Movement™ you're lifting up communities, creating connections and taking action to make America a more equitable place and ensure that every mom and baby is healthy.
Together, we’re marching to raise funds and awareness to transform the health of all families!
THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
