I joined the movement to create positive change for moms and babies everywhere, especially those most at risk. My grandson, Chance Cooksey was born July 13, 2017 at 2lbs 12oz @ 27 weeks old. He stayed in NICU for the first 6months of his life. He was our miracle child. We had to see him in an incubator and could not hold him. He was surrounded by so many machines that would go off all times of the day. My daughter got so familiar with the monitoring equipment; she was able to alert the nurses as to which were going off each time!
Fastforward to 2024, Chance is a smart, handsome and very polite kindergartener. He loves his Roblox, tablet and schoolwork. He has surpassed every health obstacle put before him and is growing by leaps and bounds. He brings so much joy to our lives.
