I will once again be walking in the Chicago March for Babies to be held on April 28, 2024. 19 years ago now, we lost my grandson, Dylan, to prematurity. We walk in honor of him and in celebration of his twin sister, Kayla, who pulled through her long and hard fight in the NICU. It was the March of Dimes that began the crusade over 50 years ago to develop surfactant therapy to treat respiratory distress syndrome, and their findings are what saved Kayla's life! I truly thank you for all your supports these years as this worthwhile cause is very dear to us. Please help me reach my goal for this important cause by making a donation. Every dollar counts and every dollar gets us closer to finding out why premature births happens and how to prevent it. I know you all have been so generous over the years donating to the March of Dimes. Any amount is appreciated as I know it is a difficult time for everyone. Thank you all for your support in this worthwhile endeavor.
With preterm birth rates continuing to rise, the U.S. remains among the most dangerous developed nations for childbirth, especially for women and babies of color.
At March for Babies: A Mother of a Movement™ you're lifting up communities, creating connections and taking action to make America a more equitable place and ensure that every mom and baby is healthy.
Together, we’re marching to raise funds and awareness to transform the health of all families!
THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
