I joined the movement because this time it's personal for me. This time last year, I gave birth at 26 weeks gestation to a 2lb baby. Not knowing the outcome terrified me and my family. As a professional who works in maternal child health, I became a part of the statistic that I worked hard to fight. I stay in this movement to create positive change for moms and babies everywhere, especially those most at risk. With preterm birth and low birth weight rates continuing to rise, I’m committed to raising funds so that every family gets the best possible start. But I need your help.
In honor of Jerwaun Levell Tompkins Jr., I ask that you donate in honor of surviving the NICU and making it to his 2nd birthday. I'm starting my first donation at $110 to represent 110 days of his life being spent in the NICU. I ask that a few good family and friends join me and match that amount in show of love and support. Any number matters to the babies who will need life saving treatment like ours. Jerwaun Jr. birthday is February 27th. Donate in his honor.
Please visit my fundraising page to make a donation. Together we’ll be part of a movement to make America a more equitable place and ensure that every mom and baby is healthy.
With preterm birth rates continuing to rise, the U.S. remains among the most dangerous developed nations for childbirth, especially for women and babies of color.
At March for Babies: A Mother of a Movement™ you're lifting up communities, creating connections and taking action to make America a more equitable place and ensure that every mom and baby is healthy.
Together, we’re marching to raise funds and awareness to transform the health of all families!
THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
