I’m participating in March for Babies because this is such a worthy cause. Personally, my niece and nephew were both born prematurely, no more than a couple of pounds between the two. While they received excellent care via their parent's health insurance, all women and babies aren’t as fortunate. It’s important to me to protect every family throughout their pregnancy by ending preventable maternal health risks and death, ending preterm birth, and closing the health equity gap.
CDC data shows that Black women, in particular, are two to three times more likely to die from pregnancy-related complications than white women. We can help our wives, sisters, and daughters achieve better outcomes than any other time before. Will you help families by making a tax-deductible gift? You can make a secure donation to my fundraising page at https://www.marchforbabies.org/mr_wilson76
March of Dimes fights for the health of all moms and babies so that every family can get the best possible start. Thank you for stepping up!
With preterm birth rates continuing to rise, the U.S. remains among the most dangerous developed nations for childbirth, especially for women and babies of color.
At March for Babies: A Mother of a Movement™ you're lifting up communities, creating connections and taking action to make America a more equitable place and ensure that every mom and baby is healthy.
Together, we’re marching to raise funds and awareness to transform the health of all families!
THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
