Message from the Team Captain
March of Dimes is a very personal cause for me.
For more information on why, you can go to my personal page. But basically, I walk for the March of Dimes because I want to help prevent premature births, and to help support cures and care for the afflictions of those that are born prematurely. Parents should take their children home from the hospital, not to the cemetery.
In 2008, together we raised over $5,000 with just me walking. The last three years, the economy shrunk that number. Let's see if we pump things up again this year. Once again this year, you can do more than just donate to my walk. You can sign up, join Team MousePlanet, and raise money at the walk in your community! My personal goal is to raise another $5,000. Our team goal is $6,000. Join me and help be a part of saving babies! Let's show how big a heart MousePlanet readers and MouseStation listeners have!
Every day, thousands of babies are born too soon, too small and often very sick. Our team is walking in March for Babies because we want to do something about this. I know you care, too. That's why I'm asking you to join us. It's easy: just click the join this team button.

The mission of March of Dimes is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality.

Funds raised in March for Babies support research and programs that help moms have full-term pregnancies and babies begin healthy lives. And they will be used to bring comfort and information to families with a baby in newborn intensive care.
