Message from the Team Captain

We are so excited that Team Lucy Bug! will be making our FIFTH appearance at the March for Babies event in Salt Lake City on May 5th. We are so proud to participate in such a worthy cause and because of our daughter Lucy's premature birth we will always feel connected to the March of Dimes organization.

Each year we are so amazed and thankful for the outpouring of support, involvement and donations by many family and friends. We chose the team goal of $1,500. this year and I know we'll meet it. Any amount of donation, support or love you want to send our way will be greatly appreciated!

Lucy will be turning 5 on March 30th and every day I am in awe of our tiny little miracle. During my pregnancy we were there was a small chance that maybe all of the bad things they told us would happen wouldn't and we'd just have a petite, little girl! Well, that's just what we got, and every day I'm so thankful for our little miracle!

Thank you for supporting Team Lucy Bug! and helping premature babies like Lucy have a chance at a healthy, long life!

The March of Dimes is dedicated to saving premature babies, funding research to prevent premature births and also helping parents during the roller coaster ride of the NICU. Our entire family has been impacted by this issue and we would like to give back to an organization that helped us and helped save our daughter.

The March of Dimes champions the needs of moms and babies in our community and across the nation. The money we raise for March for Babies will support lifesaving research, services, education and advocacy that help babies get a healthy start.

The mission of March of Dimes is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality.

Funds raised in March for Babies support research and programs that help moms have full-term pregnancies and babies begin healthy lives. And they will be used to bring comfort and information to families with a baby in newborn intensive care.
