Our journey started in 2007 after years of infertility we found ourselves proudly expecting to be parents! On November 1, 2007 Baby Will come into our lives at 23w6d weighing in at 1 lb 8 oz and measuring 12 inches long. Though he was 16 weeks too soon, he was a fighter! After a remarkable 29 days with not a single brain bleed, infection or PDA issue we thought we were in for the long haul until Will contracted NEC and it suddenly took over his little body. On November 30, 2007 he became an Angel.

His amazing journey on earth was short but carried such an impact on many. His memory lives on within the Dameron Hospital NICU, with many NICU friends we've met, parents we've comforted, and nurses whom he touched personally.

My family will be walking again this year in memory of our sweet Baby Will and others who join him in heaven. We also walk to honor the special babies who have beat the odds and are growing and developing everyday!
