ABOUT MARCH FOR BABIES
We're getting ready to walk in March for Babies! It promises to be a fun day out with people who share our passion for improving the health of babies. There'll be family teams, company teams and people walking with friends - it's a great feeling knowing we're all helping real families. Join our event and walk with us to raise money for babies right here in our community!

Meet Emma Graley
Ashley Graley learned that her baby had Spina Bifida, a serious birth defect of the spine, when she was 20 weeks pregnant.
Ashley and her family flew to Houston where doctors performed surgery on Emma in the womb to correct the birth defect. Ashley stayed in Houston for the remainder of her pregnancy, and Emma arrived 5 weeks early and spent 10 days in the NICU.
Emma is now 6 months old and does not have serious problems related to her Spina Bifida. The March of Dimes has been funding research on birth defects since 1958 and pioneered this type of fetal surgery.
Emma and her family have volunteered for the March of Dimes since 2003 and never dreamed their previous support would directly affect their family. They will be sharing their story with teams and walkers this year in Southern New Mexico. By walking and raising money in March for Babies, you help fund lifesaving research and save babies like Emma.
