Our March for Babies celebration is still on, but it looks a little different! We are rapidly preparing for a new, virtualized event that will be fun and engaging for everyone. This change in format aligns with the newly released CDC guidance for large events, to help ensure the safety and health of our participants. More details on our new format to come soon!
Join the movement!
This year, March for Babies: A Mother of a Movement™ is more than just a walk, it’s your entry into making a visible difference in your community now and for generations to come.
By participating in March for Babies, you’re lifting up communities for health equity, opening the door for all moms to have access to care and protecting the health of families by pushing for their rights. It’s no small feat—it’s a mother of a movement!
Start or join an existing team today, create an online fundraising page and let everyone know that you’re helping to make America a more equitable place and ensure that every mom and baby is healthy.
Nearly 4 million babies are born in the U.S. every year, and each one needs us. The money you raise will be a lifeline for moms and babies near you and across the country. Join over 1,000 people at the Los Angeles walk in support of moms at every stage from preconception to post-delivery with research, programs and education—and it all comes together with a celebration at March for Babies on Saturday, April 26, 2025.
WILDFIRES AND THE HEALTH OF MOMS AND BABIES
March of Dimes is there for families during their pregnancy journey. Our heartfelt sorrow and thoughts go out to those affected by the wildfires in southern California.
As wildfires continue to threaten the Los Angeles area, March of Dimes stands with families navigating this crisis. Moms and babies are among the most vulnerable during disasters, and we’re committed to ensuring they have the care and resources they need. Our heartfelt thoughts go out to all who have been affected.
To support relief efforts for displaced families, March of Dimes has donated $10,000 to the National Diaper Bank and Baby2Baby in Los Angeles. Additional supplies, including diapers, onesies, and other essentials, have been distributed to families who need them most. Together with partners like Baby2Baby, the National Diaper Bank Network, and Fanatics, we’re making a difference for families impacted by these fires.
At the same time, our annual March for Babies campaign continues its mission to address the ongoing maternal and infant health crisis. Funds raised support vital programs that provide care and advocacy for all families, including those affected by the wildfires. Every dollar helps ensure moms and babies receive the support they need, during crises and beyond.
We’re grateful for our partners during this critical time, including:
- The National Diaper Bank Network, which ensures every child, family, and individual in the US has access to basic essentials needed to thrive.
- Baby2Baby, based in Los Angeles, which provides diapers, clothing, and necessities to children living in poverty.
- Fanatics and the Fanatics Foundation, which are hosting distribution events at Dodger Stadium, SoFi Stadium, and BMO Stadium to provide mom and baby supplies to families displaced by the fires.
